Multi-agency permit coordination
Permit Expediting &
Agency Coordination
Oregon coastal projects need approval from multiple agencies — city, county, DEQ, DLCD, NOAA, Army Corps. None of them talk to each other. We talk to all of them so you do not have to.
This is where coastal projects stall. And where they die.
A single project can need six different approvals, each with its own deadline, review cycle, and comment period. Miss one deadline or submit an incomplete application and you wait months for the next cycle.
Most contractors and property owners cannot track six agencies at once. We do. Our practice is focused on the Oregon coast.
We Track Every Submittal, Response, and Review Cycle
From the first pre-application meeting through the final approval, we track every agency correspondence and review cycle so nothing is missed.
- Pre-application meeting coordination and agenda preparation
- Permit application assembly and submittal
- Tracking and responding to agency comment letters
- Inspection scheduling and follow-up
- DLCD and Oregon DSL coordination for removal-fill activities
- Status reporting to client throughout the review process
- Coordination of concurrent reviews across multiple agencies
- Assistance with appeals or additional information requests

From Scoping to Final Approval
-
Pre-Application Scoping
We review your project description and parcel context to identify which agencies exercise jurisdictional authority and what submittal materials each requires. You receive a written agency matrix and a realistic timeline before we begin.
-
Application Assembly
We prepare and package all submittal materials — application forms, site narratives, supporting documentation, and any agency-specific supplemental exhibits. No document is filed until you have reviewed and approved it.
-
Agency Submission & Tracking
We file concurrently with all applicable agencies, track comment periods and statutory review deadlines, respond to requests for supplemental information, and participate in pre-application meetings or coordination calls alongside you.
-
Approval & Closeout
We verify that all approvals are issued, conditions are documented and comprehensively understood, and flag any post-approval compliance obligations — monitoring conditions, inspection milestones, or DSL mitigation requirements — before concluding the engagement.
Focus on building. We will handle the permits.
Scope is calibrated to your project's specific jurisdictional complexity.
